Angles and Hope I have decided to write about the topics of hope and Angles. This assignment was a lot more difficult than I had originally anticipated. I spoke more about Gods Angels. I choose to write the good angels, the one that come from God. I decided to elaborate on the topic of hope because at one point in my life I had no hope. I now realize that it is one of the important stepping stones when coming to Jesus Christ. It also ties in with faith and much more, but you must read more to find out. I put a lot of time effort in to this report and, spoke from the inner-most part of my heart.
I had a very big revelation during this study. God used this assignment about hope and angles to strengthen and have a closer relationship with Him. I also noticed my husband reading the bible more; I believe its from my actions with all this intense relationship bible reading. I really think you will enjoy reading this assignment. Theological Meaning of Angel I. The Word angel in English as we know it is angel. Well the word comes from the Greek word. Angelo means messenger. The Hebrew word means Malak which can also mean messenger.
Malachi in the bible got his name from the word Malak so that his name has a meaning of messenger or angel. This fact really interests me because I was going to name my son Malachi; I really wish I would have named him Malachi now that I have learned this. I have discovered in the Old Testament theology included a belief in angels. In haven there was certain spiritual intelligences, they worked for God just like they were ministers of His will. I foswund lots of verses that relate the topic of angles to theology. One of them is Matthew 11;30, I like it because it gives me a vivid description of angels.
Angels are purely spiritual or bodiless. Matthew 11;30. Biblical Meaning II. Now I am going to do try my very best to explain on the subject of Angels. The best way I know how to describe an Angel in my own words is; an angel is a spirit that God has created and is pure. In Hebrews 1; 7 this verse describes Jesus as an angel and the coming of Jesus. Hebrews also goes on say that Jesus is superior over all angels. Through my research on angles I realized I would not have enough room on this paper to tell you about all the many and complex tasks that Angels have.
One of their task are to protect us according to Psalms 91;1 Jesus will command angels in all your ways they will lift you up and you will not strike your foot on a stone. By acknowledging Jesus name all this that the bible speaks of will come true! In Exodus 23; 23-22 it says, God’s Angles will prepare the way. Isaiah is about getting people out of harm’s way once there in it. In Acts 5 and Act12 the angels somehow released the Apostles from; how amazing! In Elijah and Kings the Angels even provided food. I know for a fact angels have brought food to my family before!
I also came across verses that talked about; strength and encouragement, and being present. Caring for the believer at the time of death that has to do with the story of Lazarus. There is so much about angels in the bible I choose to elaborate on the good angels. Because the bad one’s are the fallen angels usually from pride. The bad angels can also be known as demonic spirits, which I already did my previous reflection paper on. Practical application III. Now I will explain my experience with angels and how it applies to my life.
I know and believe in my heart I have had many encounters with angels in a human form. The one encounter I remember the most is when I was committed into a mental intuition. I was considered a “hopeless case” well, a beautiful lady came into my room where I was tied down; she comforted me, encouraged and assured me everything would be ok. As soon as she left I knew she was a angel. Another important point I want to make is, the importance of angels when praying. I sometimes vision the angels battling on the behalf of my children’s innocent soul’s or mine.
Often I pray specifically for God’s will then ask Him to dispatch His protecting angles to watch over each one of my family members, the women at my church that are my accountability team and Lost. In the church recently I have had three different women come to me with dreams and visions that let me know vivid way with a lot of clarity what Gods will is for my families and I’s life. I believe these women whom I’m grown close to are my angels or at least angels come to them. This is how I found out I have black mold in my house and many other important facts to help me better do God’s will or meet the many needs of my large family.
Without angels in my life and the one‘s I love the most I don’t know where I would be today currently in my life. Theological Meaning of Hope IV. In Greek and Hebrew hope is an indication of certainty. A strong and confident expectation- is what the word hope means in scripture. I’ve also noted in the bible hope seems to be connected to faith, because hope deals with invisibility and futurity. There are many, many verses I have come across in the bible about hope. Isaiah 1:13 is my favorite; Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Biblical Meaning of Hope V. Now, it’s time for me to give the biblical meaning of hope. Hope is expectation that without a doubt what God promises to us in the bible is true and that it has occurred and or will in accordance with the Lords holy word. For this we labor and strive, that we have put our HOPE in the living God who is the Savior of all men especially those that believe. My soul waits in silence, for my hope is only from him Psalms 62:5. This is a verse I often meditate on. Practical Meaning VI. I went from having no hope at all and eventually came to salvation.
Since I’ve done an in depth study of hope, I have learned so much about myself and what the real true meaning of hope really is. Hope has changed how I see myself some include, the things I value in my life. Now I also have eternal hope since I’ve come to salvation. Hope has even given me peace, strength, boldness, endurance and courage. I now just need to continue on the road I’m on , and keep my spirit fed on a daily basis. Then hopefully I should be able to apply these principles I’ve learned in my life on a daily basis; then eventually with the Lord’s help it will become habit.
What’s extremely crucial is for this generational cruse to be broken and these biblical principles can be passed down through my actions. Before my study I did not know that hope and faith had anything to do with each other. Now I’m very thankful for the Lord doing a mighty work in my through this study In Conclusion VII. I am so excited right now if you ask anybody who knows me, they would say, “Oh that Gina she’s the one to get on fire for God”. Well, I am so fired up right now, because now I have gained so much more knowledge and insight about the bible; and the bibles meaning and scripture about angels and hope.
Honestly I picked hope because I thought it would be easy. Needless to say I was wrong did not know it got so complex and deep and sure didn’t know it had anything to do with faith. Angels I have always adored and been fascinated with. Now I feel so protected loved and worthy, before I was defiantly lacking in that area. The most awesome pare what I live for everyday is having the opportunity to go out and share the love of Jesus our Lord and Savior with others whom God places in my path! How awesome is that? I would like to end in this verse. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11;1
