A electron is so light that scientist said it massless. The electron was discovered by J.J Thomas during  investigations of cathode rays. One way of making electricity is a nuclear power plant to power homes and big building. Electricity is the set of physical phenomena associated with the presence and motion of electric charge. In 1887, Heinrich Hertz found that electrodes illuminated with ultraviolet light create electric sparks more easily. In 1905, Albert Einstein published a book that explained a experimental data from the photoelectric effect as being the result of light energy being carried in discrete quantized packets, energising electrons. This discovery led to the quantum revolution. Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics about 1921 for (“his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect”). The photoelectric effect is also employed in photocells such as can be found in solar panels and this is frequently used to make electricity commercially. Lighting what causes it:lighting is an electric current. Within a thundercloud way up in the sky, many small bits of ice (frozen raindrops) hit each other as they move around in the air all of those collisions create an electric charge. After a while, the whole cloud fills up with electrical charge, the positive charges or protons form at the top of the cloud and the negative charges or electrons form at the bottom of the cloud.Since opposites attract, that causes a positive charge to build up on the ground beneath the cloud. The grounds electrical charge concentrates around anything that sticks up, such as mountains, people, or single trees. The charge coming up from these points eventually connects with a charge reaching down from the clouds. Lightning can appear to be many different colors depending on what the light travels through to get to your eyes. In snowstorms, where it is somewhat rare, pink and green are often described as colors of lightning. Haze, dust, moisture, raindrops and any other particles in the atmosphere will affect the color by absorbing or diffracting a portion of the white light of lightning.Lightning is a bright flash of electricity produced by a thunderstorm. All thunderstorms produce lightning and are very dangerous. If you hear the sound of thunder, then you are in danger from lightning. Lightning kills and injures more people each year than hurricanes or tornadoes; between 75 to 100 people.  Thunder is caused by lightning. When a lightning bolt travels from the cloud to the ground it actually opens up a little void in the air, called a channel. Uranium-fuelled nuclear power is a clean and efficient way of boiling water to make steam which drives turbine generators. Except for the reactor itself, a nuclear power station works like most coal or gas-fired power stations. Wind electricity:is the power of wind to power an object or being. Wind can be dangerous and useful.  As hot air rises, cooler air moves in to fill the void. As long as the sun shines, the wind will blow. And wind has long served as a power source to humans. Solar electricity; Many are familiar with so-called photovoltaic cells, or solar panels, found on things like spacecraft, rooftops, and handheld calculators. All together electrons form a negative charge. Electrons are found in clouds. Electron a really really small compared to protons and neutrons it is almost 1,000 times smaller. Electrons play a big role in chemical bonds. What is electricity? Electricity is made of atoms,electricity that are negative attract to protons in other atoms to form a spark. Electricity run down wire to a circuit to make things work.humans are full of electricity it is what makes our brain,heart and nervous system work. People try to get away from it but they can’t it has been around for a long time since Benjamin Franklin and others found out that lighting and other particles make electricity. The first form of electricity that was discovered was static electricity. It occurs when two objects are rubbed together and the electrons are exchanged. One way to show static electricity is rub a balloon on your head and slowly pull it away it will make your hair stand up. I have found that in the colder months  static electricity affects me more because I get shocked by family and other objects easily. Another form of electricity is hydropower it is when water is made to flow through one spot and is captured. The water turns a turbine which goes in a circle and causes an electric current that is used for power.when you use electricity there are two types of materious one is a conductor which means that it is easy for power to run through it. And the other part of a insulator which does not let power run through it. Plastic and glass are good insulators. Copper is a great conductor of electricity. For the electrons to flow through the wire freely you have to have a generator which is the electrons run through it and a magnet forces the electrons through to make a current.
